Since the beginning of the planning back in May of 2019, the Center successfully held their kick off meeting at the University Club with 72 attendees. Remarks were made by Advisory Board members Michael Becich, Jules Sumkin, and David Vorp. Dr. Shandong Wu, the Director of the Center, gave a presentation giving the background, vision, mission, planned activities, collaborations, etc.., of the Center. It was a great start for the Center.
