The Center presents as a unique multi-disciplinary team and uses a convergence approach to integrate distinct expertise to advance the field of medical imaging AI. CAIIMI pursues to lead large-scale research efforts and aims to build strong academic-industry partnership.
Funding
The Center pursues internal and external funds from institutions, the NIH, NSF, and other agencies, private foundation donations, and industry sponsors.
Research Areas
The overarching research goal centers on trustworthy clinical/translational medical imaging AI development, dissemination, and commercialization that is essential to bringing AI imaging tools/software/informatics to clinical practice.
